CP-FS: Principles and Applications of Food Safety Science

The Certified Professional–Food Safety (CP-FS): Principles and Applications of Food Safety Science course was developed by industry experts from across the country. It was recently updated to align with the FDA National Curriculum Standards for knowledge, skills, and abilities required for an advanced level food safety professional and the FDA 2022 Food Code (plus Supplement).

This course provides the food safety knowledge and skills necessary to ensure safe food in any retail environment and is applicable a variety of roles including quality assurance or quality control manager, auditors, food establishment supervisors/managers, owner/operators, regulatory inspector/investigators, and anyone looking to elevate their knowledge of food safety to the next level.

The course also includes a practice exam that will help candidates prepare for ßÏÀÖ԰’s CP-FS credential examination

The CP-FS Credential exam is being updated to align with FDA National Curriculum Standards, effective in June. Updated study materials will be available in April. Click here for more information on what this means.

You can access course content three ways: the online review course (self-paced), the virtual course (instructor-led), and via self-study with print and electronic materials.
